NFL Betting – Week 4 Picks

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns

Sportsbook: Bengals -6

The Cincinnati Bengals have been impressive this season, believe it or not. Had it not been for a miraculous last-second play by the Denver Broncos, the Bengals would be undefeated and still 3-0.

But the Bengals are currently 2-1 and they have to be focused this week because a loss to the Cleveland Browns makes their first month of the seasonĀ  a wash.

The Browns are desperate for a win themselves but the question is if they have the weapons to do it. The Brady Quinn era was shortlived in Cleveland and Derek Anderson is now starting at quarterback for the Browns. Anderson has had some success agaisnt Cincy in the pass, tossing eight touchdown passes in three games.

Even so, Cincy is still much more reliable. The Bengals have Carson Palmer, who finally looks healthy, they have Chad Ochocinco, who typically carves up the Browns secondary, and they have Cedric Benson, who has proven to be a reliable power rusher. That will be enough for the Bengals to move to 3-1 in this game.

Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

NFL Betting odds: Titans -3

The Tennessee Titans were 13-3 last year and started the season 10-0. It’s been three weeks so far this season and they have already matched their loss total from last year.

The Titans are still winless at 0-3 but the good news is that they have been in each contest. Had it not been for a couple of botched field goals by Rob Bironas, the Titans could have beaten Pittsburgh and had it not been for a couple of fumbles by rookie return man Ryan Mouton and a couple of turnovers from Kerry Collins, the Titans could have won in New York.

Nonetheless, they get an easier matchup this week as they head to Jacksonville. The Jaguars are a one-trick pony on offense as they solely rely on Maurice-Jones Drew. When he is running well, the team can when but when he is eliminated as an option, the Jaguars struggle to win.

The Titans know this and their main focus will be to curtail his effectiveness this Sunday.

On offense, the Titans should be able to handle the Jaguars defense, which has struggled to get pressure on the quarterback.

Stanley Cup Picks: Titans -3
